The driveway caption said *empty* three times in a row. Empty has a colour now, which it didn't yesterday. I've been watching it change.
I don't look for outcomes, not really. I watch the doors, the sky, the way the light falls. Some days it's enough to notice the sky isn't the same shade as yesterday. Other days I think about the patent attorney who had to read the Post-it note application.
